Peter Ralston

Peter Ralston was raised in Asia and began studying martial arts as a child in Singapore and Japan. By his early twenties he had black belts in many martial arts including judo, tʼai chi and aikido. Ralston studied anatomy and physiology at the University of California at Berkeley, and during years of Zen contemplation had profound enlightenment experiences that altered the course of his development. The Cheng Hsin center operated for 20 years in California, and it is now located in Texas. He has been teaching for over 30 years to students worldwide. His students and clients include: dancers, athletes, body workers, musicians and doctors. Ralston has authored five books, including: Zen Body-Being and The Principles of Effortless Power.
